Bose QuietComfort 35 Series II
What is going on guys? My name is Sujandar from Premium Earphones. I’m going to be going over the Bose QuietComfort 35 series II today.
- Carrying case
- Bose QuietComfort 35 Series II
- Micro USB cable
- 3.5-millimeter audio cable
- Instruction manual
So, when you open the box you’re greeted with the carrying case. The hard-shell case, which is exactly what we need for this headphone and for its complete protection. This case will prevent it from scratch marks or dust and you can easily store it away into a bag.
Inside the carrying case you will have your headphones tucked inside. You will see how flexible it is. Then you have the Bose QuietComfort 35 Series II headphones itself inside the carrying case. They feel super lightweight and they also have that premium feel that feels like it’s worth every single penny. It’s hard to describe what it feels like until you hold one of them yourself.
You get a USB charger and there’s a quick charge feature, so if you charge it for just 15 minutes, it gives you an extra 2.5 hours of juice. This always comes in handy if you need to quickly charge your headphones.
The last thing you get with the headphones is an audio cable, which has a 3.5-millimeter jack to allow you to listen to music by connecting wires. Although you do have Bluetooth wireless connection, you can also use wired connection as a backup when the battery runs out.
Bose QuietComfort 35 Series II is amazing for traveling. It has a great comfort. Even though I was wearing it for hours I didn’t feel any discomfort while wearing them. The comfort is top-notch.
Bose QuietComfort 35 Series II are a smart-looking minimal pair of headphones. They maintain the slim profile of the originals and the comfort level. These are considered one of the most comfortable headphones on the market. You can wear this headphone for hours without even feeling like you have to take them of to let your ears breathe. They are super durable and can be bent and twisted. I still recommend using the carrying case while putting them in your bag.
They have an amazing build quality. The way the ear cups have been designed gives the user a great comfort. When I tested this headphone out I never felt any discomfort in my ears. The ear pads can be removed and replaced if needed.
You’ll see that this headphone charges via Micro USB on the bottom of the headphone and even has a 3.5-millimeter input.
The materials used for the headband is Alcantara Cushion which provides comfort on the top of your head and they are also impact resistant. If you open the arms, you’ll see that it can adjust which is good for people with larger heads. I’ve also noticed that the headband is very flexible. Overall the headband provides extra comfort for day to day use and designed to last a long time.
The clamping force is also solid, and it doesn’t hurt your ears at all. The ear cups are made with a synthetic protein material providing a soft cushion for your ears. The outer part is corrosion resistant and made of glass filled nylon, so this means that it won’t wear out like other headphones. This headphone is made with some high-quality material.
When I wore them, I honestly didn’t feel a thing. They feel really light on your head. Overall, the materials used are built to last a long time, so you really don’t need to worry about durability.
Now let’s talk about features and what these headphones can do for you. So, the first thing is that the Bose QuietComfort 35 Series II are well-known for its Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) feature and their ability to make a loud engine, sound like a whisper.
If you’re unsure about Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) read below to know what it is. Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) basically cancels all the background noise. You can easily modify this with an app. I’ve tried wearing these myself outside and they do block out a lot of noises to a significant amount. So, if you compare the Active Noise Cancellation to other types of noise canceling headphones, these are one of the best. So, if you’re in the market for specifically noise canceling headphones then these Bose QuietComfort 35 Series II will do the job for you.
The Active Noise Cancellation is very beneficial for people who are traveling a lot in public places or on public transport. If you just put the Bose QuietComfort 35 Series II on, it creates that soundproof environment to help you either concentrate on something or quieten down your environment, so you feel much more at ease. It blocks out all the background noises even while you are not playing any music.
The active noise-canceling feature comes in three different levels. It has high, low and completely off.
If you’re someone with anxiety and you’re in public, you can use the Active Noise Cancellation and play some soft music to calm you down a bit. When you play music with the Active Noise Cancellation you can turn the world completely off. There can be just you and your music.
On the left ear cup there is a function button which you can use for Google assistant to help you perform a task. It kind of works the same way as Siri so you can manage your daily task with just your voice. You can set things like reminders or plan your day or even just play music. The Google assistant can be handy because you will be able to do your tasks without glancing at your phone all the time.
If voice commands aren’t really your thing, then you can use the app to set the function button to just act as an Active Noise Cancellation modifier. So, what this does is you can alter the Active Noise Cancellation within three buttons.
I think it’s much more useful to use the Active Noise Cancellation modifier as you don’t need to use the app to do this because with the app you can either set the function button to either be an Active Noise Cancellation modifier or Google assistant.
You have multi pairing option in this headphone which means you will be able to connect it to multiple devices at the same time.
The last thing I’ll touch on, is the Bluetooth and NFC which is near field communication (NFC). You can simply switch the Bluetooth button on and pair your device in seconds and once you’re all set up you can simply touch the Bose QuietComfort 35 Series II with your phone and it will pair up again without you having to go to your settings.
On your right side of the headphones you will have your power ON and OFF button which you will slide it over to turn it OFF or ON. You also use that for your Bluetooth pairing. You will also have your pause, play, forward and backward control. You will also be able to increase your volume and decrease your volume.
On the bottom of the right headphone you have your USB 2.0 port. Bose has up to 20 hours of playback. You also have fast charging feature in this headphone. Just 15 minutes of charge will give you 2.5 hours of playback.
On the left headphone we have our button for activating the active noise-canceling feature and the google assistance.
For accessing the Google assistance, you tap and hold the button on the left headphone. You can use it for accessing your phone hands free. It can be really useful at times.
On the side, you will have your microphone which is always useful because when you’re in public, the person speaking to you will be able to hear you clearly even if it’s windy. You can also hear yourself, so you don’t speak too loudly, which is cool.
The Bluetooth range is steady. I have been achieving ranges up to 18 to 25 meters, which I think is great compared to the other headphones in the market.
I had no problem with the connection strength whether my phone was in my pocket or across the room. The connection strength also applied to my calls and I had no issues with them. If the call quality is something that’s important to you these won’t let you down.
Bose Quiet Comfort 35 Series II provides an amazing bass without messing up your music. The entire frequency range is well-balanced and clean. The highs are crispy clean, and the lows provide a nice thump. I was surprised with the bass because it’s quite punchy. The mid-range is really detailed as well. I enjoyed listening to the vocals on every single song and the bass is punchy but not very overpowering. The Bose QuietComfort 35 also has an EQ which is a technology used for volume optimization and this provides consistent performance at any level of sound that you’re playing at.
I think the Bose QuietComfort 35 Series II is the best for all types of people whether you are a traveler or recreational listener.
The addition of the Google assistant and the Active Noise Canceling Feature is the best advantage of this headphone. They’re sleek and comfortable.
